Raya - 9yr DSH. I adopted her from Dumb Friend’s League just under one year ago after losing my soul cat, Mooshu to intestinal cancer. I am Raya’s third and forever home. She was rehomed due to no faults of her own, but she will never have to worry about home security again. At first, she was very timid and flighty while I gained her trust. She would run at the slightest noise or new people. Now, after working with her and respecting her boundaries and showing her that she is safe, she has truly come out of her shell and runs the household like she was always meant to. It has been the most rewarding thing! I love her so much 💕

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Upon entry, I ensure to enter very slowly and open the door as little as possible as I slip through to avoid any potential kitty escapes. I always check other entry/exit points and windows at each visit as a habit to make sure things are locked up tight. I scan all rooms for potential hazards and messes at each visit. On exiting, I always do a head count on cats before leaving and jiggle the doors to make sure they’re locked. Double checking garage door is closed, etc.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I can’t remember the last time I travelled for the holidays and was unavailable. I would so much rather be around and available for cat parents to afford them the peace of mind that their babies are reliably taken care of while they’re away.

Savannah took great care of our 2 cats! One of our cats has kidney disease and is taking several medications along with subcutaneous fluids daily. Savannah was able to take care of all of his needs with no problems and kept me very informed on his day to day eating/drinking/litterbox habits. she obviously cares a lot about animals and I felt very relaxed during our trip knowing that Savannah was there taking care of them.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
