What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting and getting to know the different cat personalities and what makes them each unique. I enjoy sharing my love and care with them and hopefully giving them a great level of comfort while their parents are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a tuxedo cat, with gray and white color. His name is Smokey. I was his foster mom before I adopted him.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to set up a meet and greet prior to sitting. Discuss with the parent their needs, any special instructions and what they can expect from me.

Denise recently took care of my three cats while I was away and she did a great job! She sent me a detailed message each day, along with pics and videos to let me know everybody was doing well. I have one cat who stays separated from the other two, and Denys paid special attention to make sure they stayed separated. In addition to changing the litterboxes, refreshing water and feeding the cats, she gave them all attention by playing with them and petting them.

Denys took great care of my two cats while I was away. She made sure their food, water, and litter boxes were all well maintained, and I really appreciated the updates she sent throughout the stay. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
