What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting for friends and family for the past 10 years, caring for a variety of personalities - from shy, independent cats to social lap-lovers. I also have two 5-year-old cats of my own, so I fully understand how important trust, consistency, and attention to detail are when it comes to caring for someone’s furry family member. My experience has taught me how to read body language, respect boundaries, and create a calm, safe environment every time I visit.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is the quiet bond that forms over time. I love earning a cat’s trust, respecting their space, and learning their unique little quirks - whether it’s the way they like to play, nap, or ask for attention. There’s something really special about being the person who helps them feel calm and cared for while their family is away. Plus, getting to spend time with cats (and send cute updates to their humans!) is genuinely one of my favorite things.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have two cats of my own - Sammy and Fiona. Sammy is a fluffy orange boy with a big appetite and a tender heart (he’s basically a cowardly lion). Fiona is a petite gray girl who acts more like a golden retriever than a cat - she’s wildly social, adores people, and demands attention at all times. They both have totally different personalities, and they’ve taught me so much about meeting cats where they are and loving them for exactly who they are.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
