Over the years I've gotten pretty familiar with all kinds of cats, from the affectionate ones who can't get enough attention to the professional hiders who disappear the moment someone walks through the door, I understand that every cat is different. I believe in letting cats get comfortable at their own pace rather than forcing interaction. Whether your cat wants to play nonstop, cuddle up next to me, or simply have someone nearby while they relax, I'm happy to follow their lead!
I'm comfortable... Hi! I've been around cats quite literally my entire life. In fact, I don't think I've ever gone a single day without having a cat in my home! I currently have Four Fantastic cats of my own, each with a completely different personality, so I'm no stranger to the joys (and occasional chaos) of living with multiple cats.
Over the years I've gotten pretty familiar with all kinds of cats, from the affectionate ones who can't get enough attention to the professional hiders who disappear the moment someone walks through the door, I understand that every cat is different. I believe in letting cats get comfortable at their own pace rather than forcing interaction. Whether your cat wants to play nonstop, cuddle up next to me, or simply have someone nearby while they relax, I'm happy to follow their lead!
I'm comfortable handling the everyday responsibilities of cat care including feeding, giving fresh water, litter box cleaning, brushing, playtime, and keeping their environment clean and comfortable. I know how important routines are for cats, so I make an effort to follow your instructions closely and keep things as familiar as possible while you're away.
Outside of caring for my own cats, I also have a background working as an EMT. That experience has taught me the importance of being dependable, paying attention to the little details, and staying calm when something unexpected happens. I bring that same level of responsibility to caring for animals as I do my patients.
I also know how reassuring it is to hear that your pets are doing well when you're away from home, so I'll make sure to send pictures and updates after each visit so you know how your cats are doing and what they've been up to. At the end of the day, I want your cats to feel comfortable in their own home and for you to feel confident that they're in good hands getting the care they deserve!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 kitties of my own! Leo, Kumo, Molly, and Joe. Molly and Joe are the oldest at 16 and 13 respectively so I am very used to caring for older cats and anything they may require. Leo and Kumo are the youngest, both are just under a year old but I've raised them since they were 2 months old so I also have experience with kittens and how their care can be different. Molly and Joe are affectionate, Kumo is very shy, and Leo is a mischievous ball of chaos so I have a full house of very different kitties!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to start with a meet-and-greet so I can meet you and your cats, learn their personalities, and get familiar with their daily routine. We'll go over feeding, litter boxes, favorite toys, any special instructions, and anything else I should know about your home. I also like to ask about their little quirks, since every cat has them! During visits, I'll follow your instructions closely and send pictures and updates so you always know how your cats are doing.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know firsthand that some cats need a little extra time and patience to warm up to new people. I always crouch down, let cats sniff and approach me at their own pace rather than forcing interaction. I'll usually start by giving them some space, speaking softly, and letting them get comfortable with my presence. If they'd rather hide, that's perfectly fine too! I'll make sure they're doing okay while respecting their boundaries. My goal is to make each visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
