During each visit I cover the basics like fresh food, clean water, and a clean litter box, but more than that I pay close attention to your cat’s comfort and happiness. I have a natural intuition to the little... Hey there! I’m Katie, a lifelong cat lover. Whether your cat enjoys play time, alone time, or just a steady routine, I adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable.
During each visit I cover the basics like fresh food, clean water, and a clean litter box, but more than that I pay close attention to your cat’s comfort and happiness. I have a natural intuition to the little details, and I can adjust quickly to their needs. I have always been told things like “he never warms up to people this fast,” or “she must REALLY like you” when I meet people’s pets, and often become a fast friend to new animals!
You can rely on me to be communicative, punctual, and dependable, so you have peace of mind knowing your cat is in loving and capable hands. :)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have over a decade of cat sitting experience! I am a trusted “go-to” for many friends and family who now don’t book with anyone else.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
As a self-proclaimed animal person, I have always loved getting to know each cat’s unique quirks and personality. I get so much joy out of earning their trust, and providing a safe and relaxing environment when their parents are away.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I became my friends cats new favorite person after cat sitting for a week. “Callie” and I took a very strong liking to each other, and to this day we are bonded. I was so happy to be her safe space while her mom and dad were away, and am grateful that each time I see her again I’m met with meows, cuddles, and kisses!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them lead the way! I never push a cat outside of their comfort zone. I try to provide a calming energy and let them come to me when they’re ready.

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She was incredibly kind and caring with my cats, spending time playing with them every day and making sure they were happy and comfortable while I was away. I really appreciated the daily photos and videos. It gave me so much peace of mind seeing how well they were doing and how much she was engaging with them. She’s super trustworthy, reliable, and clearly great with cats. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pets like her own!

The shy kitty whisperer! I have one outgoing cat and one very shy cat, both of them loved Katie. She was punctual for their feeding time every day, it was always easy to reach her, and sent lots of pictures so I could see how they were doing. Definitely recommend for anyone needing her care :)

She connected with my two cats, Agatha and Zoe, in a way that honestly surprised me—in the best way. Both of them can be a little selective with new people, but Kate had them purring, relaxed, and completely at ease in no time. She was attentive, gentle, and genuinely tuned in to their personalities. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with them, and it was clear they adored her. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Miami cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
