I am a mature and responsible adult, and am a realtor which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I have always had cats in my life. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been doing pet sitting for over 13 years. I get a great deal of satisfaction when I can shower my furry clients with attention and hopefully ease their loneliness while there primary humans are away.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite fur clients was an older Siamese gentleman, named Spike. I was watching him for a week and the 1st two visits he hid under the bed. I sat next to the bed and just spoke softly to him. The third day I got him to engage with the feather toy. The 4th day he was at the door waiting for me. He was still a little stand offish but didn’t run and hide. The next day he met me at the door and rubbed up against my legs. I pet him and he started purring! From that point on he really opened up. During my 45 minute visit, we would play and the go sit on the screened in patio so he could get pets from me while enjoying a little sunshine and fresh air! He was a total love bug!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Wasabi 15 y/o Tiger striped ball of sweetness. She can be a little spicey, but has been the center of my universe since I adopted her as a kitten. The other member of the pride is Boomerang. He was a stray cat in my neighborhood. I wasn’t looking to adopt another cat as I had two at the time. He definitely had his own agenda and was going to adopt me regardless of my thoughts on the matter. I did the TNR thing with him and released him thinking he probably wouldn’t want any thing to do with me after that. But he resumed his adoption campaign until I gave in and adopted him. I’m so glad I did because he is quite a character and keeps me smiling everyday!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
