I’m also an elementary school teacher, so caring for others has always been a huge part of my life. I recently lost my teaching position due to budget cuts in Orange County, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to spend some of my extra time doing something else I am passionate about.
Whether your cat loves cuddles and attention or prefers a little more space, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I promise to treat your fur babies just like I would want someone to treat Badger and Sage! 🥰🐱

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Having used meowtel myself to find a cat sitter for my kitties, I always look for someone that I can connect with. If I can connect with the person that will be watching my babies, surely my kitties will be able to connect with them as well!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I will schedule a “pre consultation” with you in your home so you can see how I interact with your babies! This is also a great opportunity for us to see if we “mesh” well together 😊 You can give me some insight on your babies as well as what is required of me. I truly believe that over communication is better than little communication! I want all my families to feel comfortable welcoming me into their home. I’m committed to making sure families are updated every visit with pictures/videos and a description of how things are going. 😊
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats are animals that beat to their own drum! Forcing timid or anxious cats into becoming friendly with you will never end well in your favor. My own baby, Sage, is an extremely anxious cat. When I am gone for longer periods of time, he will over groom himself, pee outside of the litter box, etc. I know what it feels like to feel worried about leaving your special baby with someone new! Being patient with these kinds of cats is key! Letting them get comfortable with you on their own time can prevent unsafe situations from happening!

Makayla was the absolute best with Tommy while I was away! She was so attentive and caring with him, and I could tell he was in great hands the whole time. She kept me updated and sent me pictures, which made being away so much easier because I knew Tommy was happy and taken care of. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
