Having had 3 cats, including caring for 2 seniors with kidney disease, I understand that each cat has their own unique needs and know how important it is to make them all feel happy ... Hello :) I've been a cat parent for 17 years and a cat-lover for a lifetime! I have a 16 y/o girl, Tsuki, who demands a lot of attention and has the vocal power of a rock star.
Having had 3 cats, including caring for 2 seniors with kidney disease, I understand that each cat has their own unique needs and know how important it is to make them all feel happy and safe. I always give them as much attention as they are comfortable with, and am very patient (especially with shy cats!) I'm also comfortable giving them subcutaneous fluids and other types of special medications if needed.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love that each cat has their own personality, from grumpy to silly, so every sitting opportunity is a new experience.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I start with a meet-and-greet to learn about the cat’s personality, routine, feeding, medication, and any special needs. During each visit, I follow their instructions, provide food, fresh water, litter care, play or affection, and check that everything looks normal. I send the cat parent a brief update and photo after each visit and promptly communicate any issues.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them plenty of space and let them approach me on their own terms, using a calm voice and gentle movements. I stick closely to their familiar routine and focus on making them feel safe and comfortable rather than forcing interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
