What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I am still relatively new to the professional cat-sitting world, but I have had pets, both dogs and cats, my entire life. I have been helping my friends and family with cat-sitting needs, as well. My husband and I currently have two wonderful senior cats who have very different personalities, past life experiences, and challenges, as we adopted both from a shelter. I believe that pets are our true friends and family members, and I will always treat your pets with the same care and respect. I am very reliable and detail-oriented. We love traveling, and when we do, we also use Meowtel to find caretakers for our kitties :)

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful senior cats, Holly Molly and Tuna Star, that we adopted from St. Petersburg's Friends of Strays shelter when we moved to Florida. We were still grieving after the passing of our beloved cat Nugget (he is on my profile picture), but they filled our house again with that special kind of love, smiles, and warmth that only pets can give. We had to earn their trust at first, but we understand that the most important things in life are worth our efforts and dedication.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

First, I will familiarize myself with the information that cat parents have already provided on the platform. I will continue with a meet-and-greet to learn about your cat's routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special needs. During my visits, I follow their normal schedules as closely as possible, provide plenty of attention, and send regular updates with photos and videos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I take both your cat's safety and your home's security very seriously. I carefully follow all care instructions, keep doors and windows secure, and make sure your cat stays safely indoors unless directed otherwise. I monitor their mood, behavior, eating habits, and overall well-being during each visit and will contact you immediately if I notice anything unusual. I also respect your home by keeping it tidy, bringing in mail and watering plants if requested, and ensuring everything is locked and secure when I leave. My goal is to give you complete piece of mind while you are away.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am usually available during holidays, unless I am traveling myself :)
