My name is Lisa and I have always been an animal person. I understand that every cat is unique. Some are social and playful, while others prefer a quiet companion who respects their space. I take the time to get to know each cat and follow their routine so they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. During each visit, I'll provide fresh food and water, scoop the litter box, give medications if needed, and spend quality time with your fury loved ones in whatever way they enjoy most, whether that is playing with toys, offering cuddles, or simply sitting nearby. I also keep an eye on their health and behavior and will send you updates and photos after every visit, so you can relax knowing they are doing well. What sets me apart is that I never rush through a visit. I know trust is earned, especially with cats, and I am happy to let them come to me on their own terms. Whether your cat is an energetic kitten, a senior who needs extra care, or a shy rescue, I will treat them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I give my own pets. My goal is simple: to make sure your fury loved ones are happy and you have complete peace of mind while you are away.

I had an outstanding experience with Lisa and would happily book her again. She was consistently punctual for every visit, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she genuinely cared about my cat, spending quality time playing, giving attention, and making sure my cat felt comfortable and loved rather than simply stopping by to complete basic tasks. I especially appreciated the frequent photo updates, which reassured me that everything was going well and let me see my cat happy and relaxed. Lisa also took excellent care of all the essentials by refreshing the food and water at every visit, thoroughly cleaning the litter box, and leaving the feeding area neat and tidy. Her attention to detail and genuine affection for animals truly sets her apart. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional cat sitter.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Athens cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $21.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
