What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The variety of personalities; breeds that I’ve never heard of, energy levels I didn’t know could be harnessed in a cat’s body, spunk and spice that I’ve never seen in a pet before. Cats are incredible creatures and cat sitting maxes out my potential for being able to love on as many as possible in my lifetime.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I sat 4 kittens and 4 adult cats all in the same household… I was in cat heaven! The kittens were all so unique, even at 8 weeks, and were so teeny tiny I could cradle them with one hand. The adult cats were lovely. One didn’t mesh well with two of the others, and was particularly shy, so I got a lot of one-on-one time to bond with her. The others were all incredibly friendly and loved being loved on, so they were easy to please. All together, I got so much experience managing a multi-cat household and had so much fun hanging out with them.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! My sweet angels, Juno and Jasper. Juno is my sweetheart. He loves to chirp and trill letting me know when he’s ready for cuddles. He climbs, chases, and explores like he’s conquering all the square footage of my apartment. Jasper is my lover boy. Although he tries to play it chill, his overwhelming need gets the best of him, and he is a vocal, vocal boy when he decides it’s cuddle time.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
