What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I ve been caring for cats for over 5 years, both my own and for friends and family. Over time, I turned my love for cats into a professional service. Im new in this platform but I’m experienced with cats of all ages, personalities, and needs from playful kittens to senior cats that need extra gentle care. I’ve lived in areas with large cat communities, including Midtown and here in Cobb County, which gave me even more hands on experience caring for cats of all breeds and temperaments. Being surrounded by so many cats in my neighborhoods really deepened my understanding of their behavior and individual needs . That real life, everyday exposure taught me how to read a cat’s body language, recognize signs of stress or illness early, and create a calm, loving environment wherever I go. 🐈 every cat i have care

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I love most about being with cats is their honesty. They don’t pretend, if they trust you, they show you. That moment when a shy cat finally comes close and curls up next to you? There’s nothing like it. It feels earned, and that makes it special.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Trust your instincts and look for someone who actually asks about your cat, Not just the schedule, not just the price. Someone who wants to know: Is she shy? Does he have a favorite spot? Any foods she, also don’t skip the meet & greet. Your cat will tell you everything you need to know. 🐈 .

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I always start with a meet & greet so I can meet the cat in their own space. I ask detailed questions about their routine, diet, medications, favorite spots, and any quirks. I also ask for vet info just in case. Communication is key I send daily photo and video updates. I also take notes during our first meeting so I don’t miss any details things like feeding times, litter preferences, and whether the cat likes to be held or prefers their own space. After each visit, I follow up with the owner to share how everything went and address any concerns. My goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible so both the cat and the parent feel comfortable and confident from day one.

was really comfortable around Paola. She kept him clean, well fed and provided interactive activities. She also took care of him when he was sick with a kidney infection. She is very good with pets.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
