What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have about 5 years of cat-sitting experience (aside from having been a cat owner from ages 4-16) and I absolutely love it!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like making a home visit 2-3 times prior (with the owner present) to cat sitting so that their kitty feels comfortable with having me around if their owner is out for a long period of time. This also allows me to get a feel for the kitty's routine, boundaries, likes, and dislikes. They'll make sure to let their owner know if they vibe with me too or not. I'd never want to make a kitty feel stressed out.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I'm very careful coming inside as some kitties mirror escape artists. I also usually do a sweep of the place and make sure there are no dangerous items in kitty-reach. I like to sometimes check the areas they are in most of the time to make sure they haven't had any accidents (getting sick or maybe potty).

Liz is an excellent cat sitter! She has cared for my 2 bengal cats multiple times and I will continue to use her in the future. She has a sweet calming presence and knows how to make cats comfortable. My cats trusted her almost immediately! She is prompt with feeding times and knows how to administer meds when needed. She very attentive to our needs and concerns and is careful to follow instructions thoroughly. She faithfully sends pictures and updates with each visit and is generous with playtime. Lizbeidi always provides excellent care for our 2 cats. We feel completely confident leaving our cats in her care and know their routine will continue as normal. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
