What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Find someone who is ready to respect your space and your cat’s space. Someone who isn’t just willing to check boxes of care, but does each action intentionally and carefully.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I have never specifically cat sat, but I plan on letting the cat parent lead in a way that feels comfortable for them. I will inquire about their cat’s specific habits, mannerisms, quirks. Signs I should look for if something is wrong. Their daily routine. Dos and dont’s. Willing to meet kitty and parent ahead of time if they so wish.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My cat can often be both timid and anxious. I will give him space or meet him in his chosen space quietly and slowly. Encouraging noises and words. Will pet if they are giving off those vibes.

Mindy was an absolutely amazing sitter. We could tell from the first meeting that she would be great. She was extremely attentive and asked thoughtful questions about the care of our cats. During each visit Mindy shared updates on the cats health and attitudes with a few photos. We really appreciate Mindy going above and beyond to care for our cats and help us out with a few other non cat sitter related items too. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
