What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I grew up in a multi-cat household, and have been pet sitting in the KC Metro on and off since 2010!

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am! I rarely travel out of of town for major holidays and am usually available with at least 2 weeks advance notice. I prefer to provide longer in-home stays vs drop in care over the holidays.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My laptop bag (or anything familiar and cozy for cats to snuggle on) and jingle balls (or anything similar that cats find in their environment and can safely chase around the house and lose in corners ie pens, hair ties etc)

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I stick with routines and give them their space, hanging out and being available for them to come to me if they want and maybe offering approved treats, but not forcing interactions. I have had a gig where the clients warned me their animals were shy and I saw the cats maybe twice the whole week, but the food was gone and the litterbox was being used so I knew all was well.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
