I would like to come in at scheduled ... Hi! I’m Erika, and I’ve been wanting to become a cat sitter for a while now but had no idea how to start until I found this app 😸I have experience with feeding, changing litter, playing with them, and giving them love 💗 Unfortunately I’m not experienced with giving medication.
I would like to come in at scheduled times, preferably some time between 8 AM to 4 PM.
For a week or month every year I visit my boyfriend in new york where he has 2 cats named astra and sage. I absolutely love them with my entire heart, and they made me realize how much I really wanted to try this out, especially because I was also looking for a job.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
They aren’t mine but they’re my boyfriends, though I think of them as my own. They are siblings, one is named Astra and the other is named Sage. Astra is quite timid but after a bit she warms up to me and constantly asks for butt pats 😹Sage is quite cuddly. He will come up to you immediately and start rubbing up against your leg, and eventually start asking you to pet him and his belly. Or will meow at you for treats hehe.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love the toys that are on a stick with a string attatched. It’s so funny watching them jump up really high, and they just act silly with it in general
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I don’t try to force anything with them. I simpy keep my distance and/or try to put treats around their safe spots so they know that I’m not scary. I also try to be predictable for them so that I don’t accidentally scare them.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
