Administering Medication Information: I have previous experience with Insulin Injections. I will consider those on a case-by-case basis according to my schedule due to most insulin being administered every 12 hours. I have also administered ear creams for thyroid maintenance, given cats pills via pill pockets, with treats or cream cheese... I have been a Professional Pet Sitter since 2015. During that time I managed the 2nd largest pet-sitting service in Louisville, KY for two years. I was also an independent contractor for one of the largest pet sitting service providers for 6 years. I also have a thriving private clients base. I have also owned, rescued, and fostered several cats over the years. I am hoping to expand my client base and meet more kitties with Meowtel. As a Professional Pet Sitter, I have been moving towards caring for cats only the past few years. I truly love being a Professional Pet Sitter and will take advantage of every opportunity to love on your fur babies like they are my own.
Administering Medication Information: I have previous experience with Insulin Injections. I will consider those on a case-by-case basis according to my schedule due to most insulin being administered every 12 hours. I have also administered ear creams for thyroid maintenance, given cats pills via pill pockets, with treats or cream cheese. I do not administer pills to cats orally unless they have a pill plunger (Which can still be challenging, with no guarantee of success). If I do not feel confident that I can safely/effectively administer oral/pills medication, I will inform the client and recommend another Meowtel sitter. Pills administered orally will be considered on a case by case basis according to my schedule due to each case being dependent on the cat's age and behavior etc.
Service Communication: After each service, I send a collage of photos with an update on how your kitties are doing in your absence. I also inform a client if I notice any changes or issues. PLEASE NOTE: If you have a kitty that hides during service, I will not try to locate them unless you inform me of a hiding place. In that situation, I will send photos of the clean litter box, food areas, etc.
Scheduling: Due to my fluctuating Schedule, it is best to contact me before scheduling. This is the most efficient way to ensure my service. If you do contact me, and I cannot accommodate your service dates, please feel free to check with other professional Meowtel sitters. I will do my very best to accommodate your request. However, in busy seasons I cannot guarantee my availability. Scheduling as early as possible is your best bet:)

I have been a professional pet sitter for 10 years. I absolutely love what I do! I treat and love everyone’s cats like they are my own!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Every cat has a different personality. I love discovering it through play and interaction. Even shy cats are unique in behavior❤️

My many cat clients: Ricky, Phoebe, Moony and Wonka, Kiki . I love all of them. They always make me smile:)
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! Lipps is my 11 year old domestic shorthair boy. He was a rescue from a truck repair service at 4 months old. The rest went down in history❤️
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Please make sure they are insured and bonded and have past experience with Kitties/ Pet Sitting. Always ask for references!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I do a Meet & Greet and speak to them about the pet sitting process and any special concerns they may have regarding their pet, house etc.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Closing all doors (Garage doors, inside doors etc) and being aware when I enter and leave. Double checking all locks/deadbolts etc..
Are you usually available during holidays?
Holidays can be busy. It's best to inquire before booking to make sure of my availability. I have 20 private clients as well as Meowtel clients.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Purple and mint green color toys. Cats see in ultraviolet so they get the most response:) Some also love Fishing poles with feathers.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them their space. I usually do not look for them. Some I have never seen but know they are ok because of the litter boxes and food consumption. Usually if there are two cats one always hides but eventually comes out after they find out that I have sucker written on my forehead when it comes to treats.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
