What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each catās unique personality and making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their humans are away. š±š I love seeing how every kitty has their own little quirks, whether theyāre playful and energetic, cuddly and affectionate, or a little shy at first. As a cat mom to my calico, CeCe, I understand how much cats mean to their families and how important it is to find someone you can trust with them. It makes me happy knowing I can help keep their routines consistent, give them attention and affection, and give their parents peace of mind with updates and photos. Every cat deserves to feel cared for, and I love being able to provide that extra love when their family canāt be there. š¾

Yes, Iām a proud cat mom to my calico girl, CeCe! š¾š Sheās part of the family, and being around cats has made me appreciate all their different personalities and quirks. š»
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, I like to start by getting to know them and their kitty! Iāll ask about their catās personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, and any special instructions so I can provide care that fits their needs. I also want to learn whether their cat is shy, playful, cuddly, or more independent so I can respect their comfort level. Before the first visit, Iāll make sure I understand everything needed to keep their kitty happy, safe, and comfortable, including litter box care, medications if needed, and emergency contact information. During each visit, Iāll follow their usual routine, give their cat plenty of attention at their own pace, and send photo updates so they can have peace of mind while theyāre away.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
