I have been a volunteer/foster for various animal shelters and rescues both in the US and abroad. I have experience administering oral and injectable medications and am comfortable taking care of senior and special needs cats.
In 2016, I started an animal rescue group "Zoo Dogs of Bahrain", focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering and adopting out dogs and cats previously kept as neglected and abused zoo animals at a zoo in Bahrain, through which I learned about... I love all animals and am a passionate animal welfare advocate.
I have been a volunteer/foster for various animal shelters and rescues both in the US and abroad. I have experience administering oral and injectable medications and am comfortable taking care of senior and special needs cats.
In 2016, I started an animal rescue group "Zoo Dogs of Bahrain", focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering and adopting out dogs and cats previously kept as neglected and abused zoo animals at a zoo in Bahrain, through which I learned about caring for many cats at once and managing different behaviors arising from neglect and abuse.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, I’ve rescued, coordinated vetting for, rehabilitated, fostered, and adopted out over 30 rescued former-stray cats and kittens in need in South Florida, TNRed over 50 community cats in South Florida, and helped hundreds of South Florida rescue cats and kittens find their forever families in New England.
I currently am focused on shelter photography and volunteer to take pictures for local animal shelters.
In addition to rescue and shelter work, I have petsat extensively on the petsitting all Rover and have over 500 5 star reviews.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I would like to arrange for a meet and greet before the booking dates so I can meet you and your cat(s) and we can go over instructions regarding play, litter box, feeding, medication, and any special instructions.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am usually available during holidays. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions regarding my availability!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I follow tips & tricks from the owners (favorite toy, treats, etc). Usually, if cats are unsure or timid during visits, I sit quietly and allow them space to explore and feel comfortable with approaching me. It usually does the trick!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
