What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Getting to know new kitties! I think of them as making new friends, each with their own quirks and personalities. I like to find which toys get them moving, or for more shy kitties, the ultimate reward of gaining their trust. I always remember cats I’ve cat sit for, because they are just as varied and loving as humans.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two rescue cats at home, Atticus and Scout. I get incredibly anxious when I have to leave them at home when I travel, so I understand the worry that other cats may have when booking a cat sitter. I want to make them feel as comfortable as possible when the cats are in my care!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I find that if I respect their space, and give them the time they need to feel comfortable in my presence, I will eventually gain their trust. I will never approach a cat who is hiding or displaying fearful body language.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
