Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I grew up with 3 cats who now live with my parents while I live away from home. Their names are Suki, Ooli, and Honey. Honey passed away very young due to health complications with FIV, but she still has my whole heart. I love all of my cats dearly, they are all so different!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I almost never travel (since I don’t like to), and I am a student, so I am almost always available for holidays.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience!! A lot of cats can be scared of strangers, and cautious as well. Because of that, they can be anxious if they don’t know me well or when I first meet them. Spending time with them and showing the you are safe is key, so that they can trust you. Watch and respect boundaries that they show with their body language and behavior.

Olivia is a great cat sitter ! She is super organized (made herself a spreadsheet and checklist of a complex med regimen at our meet and greet), extremely conscientious (texts me with things she notices about behavior or mood), a great communicator (replies quickly), really responsible and trustworthy. The kitties really love her and she set up an online photo album of them to share with me. She hangs out with them and they get lots of great care when she's visiting - and a million snuggles too! There is literally nothing else that she could do better ! She's the best.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
