I have been passionate about animals for my entire life, I am a firm believer that our pets are true members of the family and should be treated and respected as such. After agriculturalization and as a consequence of industrialization, us as human beings have more and more considered ourselves separate from nature and the animals that we share this earth with. It is my philosophy and approach to treat all species with kindness, love, understanding, and most importantly respect. I have a calm, patient, and gentle demeanor, and am capable of caring for kitties all across the spectrum, from the most extroverted cuddlebugs to the more introverted and shy souls. Book with me today for a reliable and enthusiastic caretaker to watch over your precious pets!
Learn More About Mackenzie
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The initial bonding period is my favorite part. Cats are careful and cautious creatures, winning over their love and trust takes patience, but it is a reward that feels better than any!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I have one cat as of right now! His name is Leonardo Nuage, and I love him with my whole heart.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I would prefer to work with cats that are indoor only. I believe that for the cats upmost safety and health, indoor only is the best policy. I am highly attentive and cautious, and as a young woman living in todays world security is of upmost priority to me.

MacKenzie was very attentive to our cats and did a great job cleaning four litter boxes for three cats. She gave them their special treats and tried to interact with three very neurotic clients. MacKenzie kept us up-to-date with messages through the service. I'd highly recommend her.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Bowie cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Mackenzie left my mind at ease for the first time ever! Leaving 5 cats behind is always a task and I’m so thankful I found Mackenzie. She was very flexible and communicative in order to take the best care of my 5. Coming from for a vacation to happy, healthy cats and a house that wasn’t messy from litter and food was the most amazing feeling ever.

Mackenzie is hands down the best cat sitter I've ever had! With over 10 years of experience caring for my cats, she's become not only a trusted sitter but a great friend. She has a natural way with cats and truly understands their needs, especially older pets. Mackenzie is attentive, responsible, and always goes above and beyond to ensure my cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She’s simply the best option for a sitter for your cat—just know, we get first dibs when I need her! LOL
