During the day, I work as a Registered Nurse Case Manager. My foundation in a career in healthcare was built in the Emergency Room - I have extensive experience recognizing signs of distress and giving oral and injection medications. I would be happy to accommodate for your cat's special needs. Additionally, I also work remotely and have a regular schedule through the work-week. I also have a car. This reliable schedule and transportation means availability to come check on your cats is very easy to coordinate.
I also pride myself on making every reservation as personable and accommodating as possible - I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and would be happy to mask up during a meet and greet or conduct a virtual video meet and greet should a client have any immunity concerns. I also offer free complimentary mail pick-up, plant-watering, dishwashing, trash and recycling roll-out, and general housekeeping as desired by clients.
My own cats enjoy extensive play, punctual feeding times (they're very vocal about this), lots of pets and verbal affirmations. Lofi loves to be outdoors on her halter, and Boba enjoys watching the birds. If I were away, I'd sometimes put on cat TV for them, make sure they still get their 3 meals a day and clean toileting and living spaces, and would expect regular pictures and updates. I hope to provide this to you and your cats as well and hope you'll give me the opportunity to do so :)

Due to exponentially increased demand and personal limitations, I require the following minimum in earnings for a reservation to be accepted:
-For non-Hyattsville residents:
minimum of $75 in earnings over a 1-week period AFTER Meowtel commission subtraction
- For residents of Hyattsville (zip codes 20781, 20782, 20783, 20784, 20785, 20787, 20788):
minimum of $100 in earnings over a 2-week period AFTER Meowtel commission subtraction

i have the extraordinary privilege of a flexible work from home environment for my full-time day job. that being said, i am NOT a morning person! for reservation visits scheduled as morning visits, it is not uncommon for these visits to occur later in the morning or during the middle of the day, especially during the holidays when i am usually booked at maximum capacity. the only truly time-critical exceptions i will make are for cats who have very specific and pressing medication requirements, for example, insulin injection for diabetes or oral medication for heart failure. i just want to be fully transparent with my personal terms and give you a good idea of what to expect of me :)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
For approximately the last 10 years I've been responsible caring for my friends' and family's cats. These are cats with diverse needs - cats requiring eye drops, oral medications and even subcutaneous fluids, kittens with lots of energy and curiosity, meticulous dietary needs and puzzle toy enrichment, or even a simple couch snuggle. I try to send daily pictures of cats to my friends while they are away. Working so closely with diverse clients is what led me to work with Meowtel, who I have been proud to represent for the last two years.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Absolutely! Lofi, the calico in my pictures, is my very first cat, adopted in December 2020. In a past life I believe she was a lady, because she is very well-mannered and has a singsong-y meow. Lofi was such a good cat I adopted another cat the following year, Boba. She's nearly the polar opposite of lofi - she is a black slug-shaped cat with a taste for mischief. In the summer of 2025, I got very strong signs of the universe to adopt Forrest, the silver and white cat in my photos. He's a soft-spoken gentleman who loves to play. He was basically asking for a brother, and so Bosco joined our little family in February of 2026. (I'm convinced Forrest and Bosco are boyfriends) I got incredibly lucky- all of my cats love extensive cuddling, and typically follow me all around the house.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Firstly, thank you to any potential new clients considering me! An added bonus to this job is when new clients express to me how much of a relief it is that they are able to trust me to keep their kitties and home sound and safe while they are away. Every new client starts with a meet and greet, and I make sure to establish and maintain explicitly open communication both ways for any questions or concerns via the client's preferred method of communication. I have had some unique anxieties and concerns expressed to me from understandably anxious cat parents, and am happy to collaborate and offer as much accommodation as I can to maintain peace of mind. I hope to communicate early on that I understand caring for your cat is a privilege, and one I do not take lightly.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Safety of cats and property is a high priority for me. It starts with a safety plan, and during the meet n greet we will discuss plans in case of any emergency - assuring vet release forms have been completed, discussing where carriers are, emergency contact process, and plans in case of inclement weather. At the end of every single one of my visits I will also send a video of me checking all cats are within the home and that all exit points are secured and locked. I make sure if owners have any further concerns that they let me know and I work with them to have them addressed - open and liberal communication is key!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
The objective with these cats is not to win them over, but to make sure to go at their own pace. Give them space, avoid eye contact, and provide all of their favorite things in surplus so that they know they are safe. I respect all cats' needs, even if that means they don't want them from me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Savage cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Alli gets 100 stars! This was my first time having a sitter for my boys and was a little anxious. At the meet n greet they immediately took to her. I appreciated and loved the photos and videos after each visit. I was particularly concerned as one of my guys is diabetic and requires injections 2 times a day. No problem with Alli. Feeding, cleaning the litter boxes, and feeding my outside kitties all done. There were a lot of happy kitties inside and out. She also went the extra mile to get on WhatsApp to send updates as I was out of the country with no cell service. I'm now feeling more comfortable planning trips knowing The Boys can be well cared for. I Highly recommend Alli for your pet sitting needs!
