Alex is an AMAZING cat sitter! Superb communication with regular updates, texts and pictures. when one of our cats got a puffy jowl, he immediately communicated how Ishi had become withdrawn and not himself, sent photos, and took him to the emergency vet for us to treat his abscess. Being all the way across the country, I can’t even describe how stressful this was and how wonderfully Alex handled such a difficult situation. we are incredibly grateful for his tremendous care of our two cats. I would 1000% recommend Alex to anyone needing a sitter for their cat or cats. We have, in fact, already rebooked Alex for a future trip. Alex was a wonderful cat-sitter for Simba. He doesn't need much, just food each morning, but Alex went above and beyond and would vacuum the litter around the litter box and send tons of pictures and updates. I will definitely be hiring Alex again in the future!

Alex just did 2 overnight visits for us so we could enjoy a quick weekend away. It went really well and we hope to be able to work with Alex again in the future. We have 2 senior cats who can be very hungry critters, so I hate leaving them alone for long periods of time. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that Alex was there with my kitties while I was out of town. He sent adorable updates and photos and also left everything very tidy at the end of his visit. Alex has watched my boys before but this was the longest stretch and of course I was more nervous and needy leaving them so long. Alex went above and beyond to alleviate my nerves by communicating daily and responding to all my requests. I came home to a clean home and happy kitties! Alex was amazing! I was nervous doing my first booking through mewotel, but Alex went above and beyond. He has great energy because my picky cats were instantly intrigued and happy with his presence during our meet and greet. I was out of town for 10 days - which is a long time for me to be away from my kitties - and Alex’s updates and care put my mind at ease. Alex was a terrific choice for our old cat, she was immediately comfortable with him at our first meeting. The anxiety she usually feels when we're away seemed like it didn't bother her this time, when we got home she was totally fine, like we hadn't even been gone.
