I'm Riley
Cat Sitting in Rochester, MI
I understand tha... Hi! I'm a lifelong cat lover who has had cats my entire life, so I understand just how unique and special each one is. From playful kittens to independent adults and senior cats, I'm comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities. I know how important it is to keep their routine consistent and make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, which is why I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how your cat is doing. I'll care for your cat and your home with the same respect and attention I would my own.
I look forward to meeting you and your feline family and providing dependable, loving care that gives you peace of mind while you're away!
Learn More About Riley
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to know each cat's unique personality. Having had cats my whole life, I've learned that every cat is different—some are playful and outgoing, while others are shy and take time to warm up. I love earning their trust, spending quality time with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. It's incredibly rewarding to see a nervous cat become more relaxed or a curious cat come out to play. Knowing I can give both cats and their owners peace of mind makes cat sitting something I truly enjoy.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have three cats of my own named Marco, Buddy, and Spooky. Caring for my own cats has only strengthened my passion for providing the same level of care and attention to every cat I look after.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Your cat's safety and your home's security are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions and maintain your cat's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I always double-check that your cat is safely inside before entering or leaving your home. During each visit, I'll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and I'll keep an eye out for any changes in their behavior or health. If I notice anything unusual, I'll contact you right away. I'll also treat your home with the utmost respect by locking up securely after every visit and keeping everything clean and tidy.

We’ve used Riley many times and she is just the BEST cat sitter! We have two cats who have very different personalities and both love her equally! She is an excellent communicator and always provides photo updates. She goes the extra mile with every single visit. One of our cats needed liquid medication and everyone knows how difficult that can be but Riley handled it perfectly! She managed to give our cat the medicine and still stay on our cat’s good side. We appreciated her willingness to do the difficult task while we were out of town. Riley is always our first choice to watch our four legged family members while we are out of town. We cannot recommend her enough!

Riley is a great cat sitter! She’s taken care of our cats many times and we can always trust they will be well taken care of by her. She has great experience with all cats - young, old and all cats in between (including experience giving medication as needed!). She also takes care of our cats as if they are her own. She is very responsive to requests and is happy to send pictures each visit. We trust her with our cats and would highly recommend booking with Riley!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Rochester cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
