I’ve cared for kittens to se... Hi there!! I’m Alicia, a 23-year-old lifelong animal lover with a huge soft spot for cats🐈 🐾 I grew up surrounded by dogs, but my love for cats truly began when I took a last minute booking on a different app to care for a sick kitty, and it completely changed my life. Not long after, I adopted my own cat and continued building experience as a cat sitter, gaining a recurring clientele!!!
I’ve cared for kittens to senior cats (including a sweet 16-year-old regular!), and I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications. I am careful in adjusting to each cat’s unique personality, whether they’re playful, shy, or need a little extra love. I also volunteer at shelters to socialize cats here and there.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I truly cannot get enough of animals. I have my own kitty and still jump at every opportunity to be around other cats. My favorite part about the job is meeting all the different personalities in cats and learning how to give them the love and fun they personally want! I love being able to make a cat feel safe and comfortable and I truly wish this could be my career.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have a regular gig watching a 16 Yr old white cat named Moo! He is the sweetest boy ever!! He has thyroid problems and takes medication for it but still sheds a ton. He is the most affectionate cat i’ve ever met so by the time I leave, I’m COVERED in white fur!!! I wouldn’t change it at all!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a 1 Yr old tabby named “baby”! We chose the name “baby” because we genuinely couldn’t call him anything else. He is the SWEETEST boy. He is very shy but his personality is so loveable. He is my absolute joy in life.

Alicia is the best sitter I’ve ever used. Before I met her I couldn’t find anyone consistent and she changed that all for me! She is the most caring, communicative and kind person. She has taken the best care of our boy since day 1. Her communication is amazing, she sends tons of pictures and videos of our boy while we’re away. Not only is her pet care amazing, she also has given us so much peace of mind just house sitting as well. I would recommend her 100%.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Utica cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
