Hi, I'm Nina! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! I am a college student at Michigan State University, but I am home in Eden Prairie for Thanksgiving and winter break! As a student studying zoology, animals (especially cats) are a passion of mine! I hope to work at a sanctuary/refuge for big cats one day! I have a lot of previous cat care experience: 🐾 Foster of 9 years with the Animal Humane Society 🐾 Cat cafe volunteer 🐾 Cat mom for 14 years I've been volunteering at the Animal Humane Society for nine years. During that time, I've taken care of a variety of animals including several litters of kittens and adult cats. This summer I hope to foster lots of litters of kittens! I also volunteered weekly at a cat cafe where I interacted with a diverse group of cats. I helped care for them by providing food and water and watching for signs of illness. This was our first experience with Meowtel and with a cat sitter that we did not know. Nina was a perfect first experience, exceeding my expectations on every front. I was nervous leaving our 2 furbabies with a service rather than a friend, but Nina put my mind at rest with her pre-visit and excellent communication. She provided detailed updates and even got our very shy kitties to come out to play during her visits. She was responsive, extraordinarily tidy and provided detailed videos, pictures and messages during her visits. Look no further for a trusted pet-sitter that will take excellent care of your kitties. We plan to put in a request for our next trip with Nina - she is the best!

Nina had a very shy older kitty to care for. While Mandy usually hid, Nina managed to find her and send photos. She also cared for indoor & outdoor plants and kept the Hummingbirds happy with fresh nectar. She also took care of a couple of things that came up unexpectedly. She is a gem!

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
