I grew up in a house full of cats and have never lived a day without a cat by my side. I live with my two Tortie Queens, LaVita and Talula.
I know how much kitties miss their humans when they are away. I’m here for them! While you’re out of town I will play with your cats, cuddle them, give them scritches, provide a warm lap, sing to them, talk to them, or just admire them from across the room if that’s what they prefer!
My dream job is to own a bookstore that is also a cat cafe/rescue. Until that day comes, I am happy to be your kitty’s bestie. 💜💜

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been catsitting in the Twin Cities since 2016. Before I moved here, I was a kitty sitter in Colorado and Wyoming. I’ve taken care of hundreds of cats. I love how no two cats are the same. They are all unique and getting to know their special personalities gives me so much joy!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to meet the kitties and their humans so I can learn their daily routine and let the cats give me a good sniff so they can welcome me into their home. I like to know where their favorite hiding places are as well as the usual things like food, water, litter, and toys. While you are away I will provide daily updates with photos.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available during holidays! I love Christmas kitties, spooky Halloween cats, festive Juneteenth friends…your kitty can be my Valentine! 💘

Natalie has been sitting my three cats for the past four years. She always sends me update pictures and communicates often. My cats always enjoy having her around. Sometimes I think they are looking for her when I come back from a trip. She’s also respectful of staying overnight in my home. She keeps the litter boxes in tip top shape and is mindful about cleaning up after herself. I’m happy to have such a reliable catsitter! I almost don’t want to share her lol. But other cats deserve to have her too.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
