Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have three kitties-Lenny (4 years old), Maggie (5 years old) and Juice (6 years old). Lenny is a large tabby with a knack for playing with Juice, Maggie is a small tuxedo cat who looooves to cuddle and sleep, and Juice is a fiery 6-toed orange cat who finds a way to get into everything! (I blame it on the thumbs😂)

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I am available most holidays and weekends and am willing to drive throughout the Twin Cities and it’s suburbs if needed.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When working with a new cat, especially one who is timid or anxious, I will make sure to start slow and let them come to me. It’s important for them to know that this is still their space and that I am a safe person for them to be around. I will also make sure to use my body language in a beneficial way—turning slightly sideways, slow blinking, and keeping my body low and relaxed. I will also make sure to use whatever tips and tricks the owner has and update honestly on how it is going.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
