When I cat sit, I’m always thinking of how your cat perceives a stranger in their home. That means I’m quiet, always using a gentle voice, and letting them come to me... Hi, I’m Cinde and I’ve had the privilege of being a servant to cats most of my life. They demand to be worshipped and that’s exactly what I do! In addition to having cats most of my life, I’ve had cats with special needs - diabetes, skin/diet issues, and kidney failure, so if you have a kitty who needs special treatment I have a gentle hand and a lot of patience!
When I cat sit, I’m always thinking of how your cat perceives a stranger in their home. That means I’m quiet, always using a gentle voice, and letting them come to me. If your cat loves attention yay! but if they need some space I understand.
In addition to being a cat owner, I have 2 years experience as a kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital. As a “kennel attendant “, I was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning kennels and administering medication. I learned a lot about cat behaviors and issues. One of my favorite experiences was taming two feral kittens our doctor found on the side of the road.
I will treat your fur babies like my own which means treating them with kindness and respect, as well as doing my utmost best to make sure you feel happy and satisfied with my care.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I am privileged to be a cat mom to Ares, a year old Siberian Forest cat, and Nero, a 5 year old black domestic cat. They are completely spoiled!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
If you have a cat with special needs and the sitter says they are experienced in administering injections, watch them do it. Not only does it give you piece of mind that they know what they are doing, but it will also give you an opportunity to see how the sitter handles themselves in these situations.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Every visit I make sure that I at least get a visual of a cat and if possible take a photo of every cat in the home for the client. I also check to see if there have been any changes to the environment and I always check that doors are locked, and doors inside the home that are open stay open.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My cats love a balled up receipt from the store! They will fetch it and bring it back when they want to play.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For very timid and anxious cats I exercise a lot of patience and time. I never rush such meetings and make sure that I lower my voice and gently talk to the cat. I let them get used to my presence by sitting nearby - not too close. I may use a toy or a treat (with permission). I don’t wear any perfumes or scents that might stress the cat. If I need to stay longer to let the cat get used to me I will (with permission of course)!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Saint Paul cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
