Over the years, I’ve fostered a shelter cat, cared for a friend’s cat for about a year during COVID, and provided cat-sitting services for friends many times... I’m a lifelong cat lover with over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own cat, who recently passed away after a wonderful life with me. While I’m not ready to adopt another cat yet, I truly enjoy spending time with and caring for cats, and would love the opportunity to care for yours in your home.
Over the years, I’ve fostered a shelter cat, cared for a friend’s cat for about a year during COVID, and provided cat-sitting services for friends many times. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of different cat personalities, routines, and care needs.
I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide reliable, attentive care during visits. I can easily adapt to your cat’s routine—whether that includes feeding, playtime, litter box care, or simply companionship—ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
I’m respectful of each cat’s unique personality and boundaries. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and prefers a quiet presence, I’ll make sure they feel safe, calm, and well cared for in their own home.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes. I used to have my own cat, my little boy named Riceball, who recently passed away. He came into my life when he was about 1.5 years old, and I was incredibly lucky to spend 12.5 years with him.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy is a feather wand toy with real feathers. It was also my late cat’s favorite toy, so it holds a special place in my heart. I love how it taps into a cat’s natural hunting instincts and encourages active, interactive play. I enjoy watching a cat’s eyes follow every movement of the feather before they “attacks” it.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I would make sure they have easy access to food, water, and their litter box, then give them the space and patience they need to feel comfortable. I know every cat adjusts at their own pace, so I never force interaction. Instead, I let them approach me when they're ready and use a calm, gentle presence to help them feel safe. I also make sure I'm available whenever they need me, whether that's quiet companionship from a distance or some extra attention once they start to warm up. Building trust with a shy cat can take time, and I'm happy to let them set the pace.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
