When I'm not pet-sitting I am a full-time community col... My family always had a cat while I was growing up and they quickly became my best friends. I've learned that life is hollow without a kitty to snuggle up to and care for.
My two senior cats and bearded dragon are my babies and best friends, so I completely understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your kitties.
When I'm not pet-sitting I am a full-time community college biology teacher. I extend my in depth biological understanding of how organisms work obtained through my Ph.D. and my vet assistant experience to the care of my pet charges. I am extremely capable in administering oral and injectable medications such as insulin along with subcutaneous fluid therapy.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting through Rover since 2022. I have cared for cats daily as a cat owner for over 30 years and have extensive experience dealing with various medical conditions.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two 18-year old kitties named Tora and Hiru. I got them as kittens when I lived in Japan and they are my best friends.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
The biggest thing regarding security while cat sitting is care surrounding entrances and exits. Some cats attempt to dash out of doors, so I am always extremely cautious when entering and exiting a home to ensure that kitties stay inside. I also always double check that I have locked all doors before I end my visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
