ABOUT ME
First off, let’s just get this out of the way: I LOVE CATS! That's part of why I love cat-sitting so much; whether we're playing, snuggling, or just sitting together, time with a cat is never wasted.
My Background:
I have always been a cat person. Growing up, I had a total of five cats at one time! I am very comfortable taking care of multiple cats, and I am experienced at balancing attention to ensure that all kitties receive equal amounts of love.
I have been cat-sitting for 14 years, and am now working for Meowtel in the hopes of growing my passion into a business! After all, who wouldn't want to play with cats all day?

My reservation with Kat did not go well. Day 1, she neglected to check the kitty litter, did not read instructions and fed the wrong food. I noticed this on my cameras and sent her a message. She told me she would be there first thing in the morning to clean. She showed up at 10:47 am. She cleaned the litter box and then shut the door and then the cats did not have access to their litter box. For over 24 hrs until the next caregiver notified me and I checked the cameras. She messaged the night of day two and told me she was changing the time to visit to early afternoons after her and I discussed that I wanted mornings as my cats feeding schedule is in the mornings. It was at this point that I decided to cancel my reservation with her and try to find another caregiver while I am on a cruise thousands of miles away. I do NOT recommend.

Kat is absolutely one of the best pet sitters I have ever encountered. We have had pets for many years and many pet sitters. Kat is one of the best by far. Attention to detail is exceptional. More importantly she genuinely cares and loves our cat, Taco. Playing, petting, cuddling are just a few of the things she does well. She doesn’t have to do those things; she wants to do those things. Kat is an amazing caretaker for my Hobbs. He adores her. She plays with him and makes sure she has everything he needs. Kat also makes sure I come home to a clean litter box and emptied trash cans. I could not ask for anything more, Kat is perfect!

Kat is such an amazing cat sitter. One of my boys was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and I was terrified to leave him for the holidays. Thankfully Kat was available and totally kept me at ease with her there. He has special food and feeding instructions that she followed perfectly. She even cleaned on her last day, including my water fountain which was way above and beyond what I expected. Such a hard worker and so great with my cats. I will definitely keep booking with Kat.

Kat was amazing! I wasn't sure how I would leave my cuddly furball for a week, but she gave me detailed updates with pictures and videos and messages about her visits. She gave him pets, playtime, and even mixed his wet food to his preferred taste. I think she took better care of him than I do!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Kannapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Kat was the best for my two boys. They have very different personalities and she was able to pick up on it and treat them accordingly. Wonderfully patient and really took her time to take care of everything I asked. My cats really seemed to love when she stopped by. The amazing photos and videos were also so great to have while I was away. Will definitely book with her again.

Kat is a wonderful sitter! She is very dependable and shows up at our planned times. She gives our cats lots of attention. She types up a summary of each visit which is very helpful. Kat also sends photos each day to show the happy cats, full food and water, and a clean litter box. Kat even goes above and beyond to grab any delivered packages and snaps a photo of those too so you don’t have to worry while you’re away. Thank you Kat!!

Kat was absolutely amazing! My cat is 20 years old and has always hated our friends and family, she warmed up to Kat the day she came to meet us. They continued to bond while we were gone, it was shocking but wonderful for my husband and I. She seems to love her job and it shows. Kat is kind hearted, sweet and friendly. She was able to cover an additional day after our plans changed. She goes above and beyond on her visits, I hope we can use her for every getaway.

Kat was amazing! I was gone for a week and a bit nervous leaving my kitties for that long, but Kat made sure to send detailed updates and pictures for every visit. I had to find someone to watch my kitties during a family emergency, and Kat was super responsive and helpful. She did an amazing job taking care of them and keeping me informed while we were gone, I didn’t worry about a thing!
