Hi, I’m Jan, a loving cat owner for 40+ years. I grew up with dogs yet many of my friends had cats that I loved. When I went to college I had lived off campus in an old farmhouse & found 3 tiny kittens under the front porch who were left by their mom who I had been feeding outside only to find that she had been hit by a car 🥲. I didn’t even know she had been pregnant! I was living with my brother, he had a dog, & sat at the front door with a cocked head, ears up & led me to the kittens. They were so tiny! I took them to the local vet immediately & they showed me how to feed them with “queen’s milk” every 3-4 hours around the clock; one kitten didn’t make it, yet two kittens flourished with care from my brother & I. I kept one kitten for me, & the other went to a friend in upstate NY who had a farm & wanted a kitten. I was smitten 💙 So the female tabby I kept was named Kitty, & she lived until age 22! late in her life she developed seizures which were manageable with medications for a time yet eventually compromised her quality of life and heartbreakingly I put her down. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
