What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Like with fostering, it’s getting to meet new cats (and people) all the time. It’s great to be the bright spot in a cats day, and to feel confident they are getting the best care while their loved one is away. I enjoy catering to every detail. My previous work life was head of client services at an advertising agency, so I’m used to keeping folks happy.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My first cat sitting experience is one I am grateful for- everyone has to have their first opportunity! He was a beautiful senior Persian boy called Coco, a type of cat I never met before, and he had the deepest purr and FLUFFIEST coat.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

The most important thing is a thorough chat with the pet parent, ideally in person- especially if kitties have medical needs. I want to understand very well their normal behavior, so I can be mindful of deviations, particularly as pet parent being away is a time of stress. In general, I want to treat your home like my home, and have you come back like you had never been away.

Tora was absolutely wonderful with my senior cat who has multiple medications and health issues. Not only did she successfully administer all of my cat's meds, but she gave me regular updates and completely eased my mind that she was in great hands. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
