What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been pet sitting professionally for 19 years. I have had so many experiences through the years that were mostly good. I only had one cat who was was territorial. He lounged every time I walked down the hall to get to where I had to care for him. I used some of my tricks to distract the cat while I fixed his food/water and litter box. It all worked out. But this is a perfect example as to why I don’t think it’s a good idea to hire your next-door neighbor’s child to care for your precious cat. Hire a seasoned professional to do the job.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Advice that I would give a perspective customer is to is for them to find a pet sitter who does this full-time. Meaning not someone who does this as a side job. I want clients to pick someone who will take the job seriously. A professional pet sitter will not let you down and back out at the last minute. A professional pet sitter is an isured company.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I have availability on all major holidays. I ask that the requests for care on major holiday be booked with a one month notice or more.

Not only was our pets more comfortable being in there own environment while we were away, our house was watched and mail brought in.

Karyn is a lifesaver! It's so hard to find someone you can truly trust with your cat, but she made me feel at ease from the very beginning. She was so attentive to Max's needs and kept me updated with photos and messages while I was away. Coming home to happy, relaxed cat was the best feeling. I will only use Karyn to take care of my frisky cat!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
