As a momma of two fur babies girls, I understand that every cat has a unique personality, routine, and comfort zone, and I take the time to honor that. Whether your kitty is playful and social or shy and independent, I adapt my approach to make them feel safe, respected, and at ease in their own space.
During my visits, I focus on more than just the basics (feeding, fresh water, and litter care). I make it a point to engage with your cat in a way that suits them whether that’s playtime, gentle affection, or simply sitting nearby to keep them company. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and overall wellbeing, and I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and little notes so you always feel connected and reassured.
What sets me apart is my patience, intuition, and genuine heart for animals. Cats tend to gravitate toward me naturally, and I take pride in building trust even with the most reserved ones. I treat every cat as if they were my own, with love, care, and attention to detail.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve had cats for over 30 years now and I know pretty much anything from their personality to administering medication.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cats make the world go round! As an avid traveler and active Meowtel user I know how stressful it is to leave our fur babies at home alone. I understand with proper love and care they will be super happy while your away!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Storm and Tammy are my two beautiful girls, each with a personality that makes them so special. 🐾 Tammy is my sweet senior lady gentle, calm, and full of love. She has that comforting, wise energy that only comes with age. She enjoys the simple things: cozy spots, quiet company, and soft affection. Being around her just feels peaceful. Storm, my adult girl, is a bit more spirited and curious. She has that independent, slightly mysterious vibe, but still loves attention when she’s in the mood. She keeps things fun and interesting, always adding a little spark of personality to the day.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Communication is key and I understand giving the cats time to warm up to me (which usually doesn’t take much time at all) is key!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Always leave doors and windows closed during visit. The last thing we want is for our cats to run out the door.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
handle anxious cats with patience and calm energy. I let them come to me, respect their space, and stick to their routine so they feel safe. I move slowly, speak softly, and focus on building trust at their pace. All at their own timing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Bronx cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
