Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have two kitties, one is Fiona Iāve had her for 13 years and sheās the love of my life. Ive watched her grow since she was a baby and had the privalege to have her around for this long and many more snuggling years to come! My second baby I rescued from the street as she was abandoned by her mother at only 4 weeks old and bottle fed her until she was big and strong. Today shes a zoomie girlie names Mazie. We call her āCrazy Mazieā but we love her energy!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Feel free to book with me during holidays! I would love to care for your fur baby while you are away visiting family duirng the holidays. It would be my privalage!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
The key with anxious and timid cats is patience and building trust. Always allow them to come to you rather than forcing any interaction. Scent is important when building that trust allowing them to smell and observe you before anything. A calm and soothing voice is key when speaking to them building that vocal familiarity and creating safety. My fur baby Fiona is a very anxious cat so I am familiar with this behavior and how to make the sweet babies comfortable.

Sophia is responsible, attentive, and truly has a way with animals. My cats can be a bit particular, but they warmed up to her quickly. She followed their feeding routines, kept their litter boxes clean, and gave them plenty of playtime and affection. I always came home to calm, content kittiesāwhich says a lot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
