What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, I like to start with a conversation to learn about their cat’s personality, routine, and any special needs. If possible, I’m happy to do a meet-and-greet so both you and your cat feel comfortable. I follow care instructions closely, keep visits calm and consistent, and always provide updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to make the process easy, transparent, and stress-free for both you and your cat.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always let timid or anxious cats set the pace. I never force interaction and focus on maintaining their routine so things feel as familiar as possible. I move slowly, speak softly, and pay close attention to body language. Sometimes that means quietly sitting nearby, refreshing food and water, or offering gentle play if they’re receptive. My goal is to help cats feel safe and respected in their own space, even if that means limited interaction at first.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
