"Ruth Anne was wonderful! This was the first time we didn't go through someone we already knew to care for our cats and I have to say it was an incredible experience. Our cats are very nervous around new people but they quickly warmed up to her. She kept us updated on how each visit was going with so much detail and included photos and videos. Our boy Charlie clearly fell in love with her right away and one of our girls who always hides and never lets new people come near her came out on the first day and let Ruth Anne pet her! One of our cats needs multiple medications including SubQ fluids and everything was handled smoothly. We are so grateful for the care she gave our cats and her attention to detail. "Elizabeth is the best! That’s all you need to know, but I shall not gatekeep her glory! Elizabeth just cat sat for me for 10 days (45 min sessions) while I was on vacation in Hawaii, an 11-hour flight from where I live. I had never used a cat sitter before—as in, I have never left my cat Rune alone for more than a DAY, so you can imagine how skeptical and scared I was. I decided to give Meowtel a chance over Rover because I read online that Meowtel vets their cat sitters much more extensively, and I was really nervous at the prospect of allowing a stranger into my home while I was away. I’m SO GLAD I decided to trust my gut and try it, because I truly could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Elizabeth. I was so impressed with her. Elizabeth got in contact with me quickly after booking and asked thorough, thoughtful questions leading up to our reservation (and took her OWN notes!). It’s clear to me that she truly cares about what she does, and has extensive experience with cats, because she knows how to interact with them in a way that respects their boundaries and keeps them calm yet curious. She asks all the right questions. She is kind, calm, professional, soft spoken, follows directions to a T, she’s an excellent communicator (she told me every day what time she expected to stop by and provided photos/videos/summaries every single day), and she was so incredibly respectful of my space and things (she left everything exactly as I had it and even asked if I have any house rules and if she should take off her shoes which I thought was so sweet of her). More than experience alone though, I think she truly has a gift with feline friends. My kitty took a liking to her right away, and he normally hides under the bed and doesn’t trust strangers. Not so with Elizabeth - he saw something good in her and bravely came mosying up to her from day 1, and by day 2 he was playing and making biscuits on her! Elizabeth is the kind of person who you can tell just has good cat energy/spirit, and animals can tell too. She even still visited my kitty during a 2-day snowstorm! My flight home was also delayed and there was a possibility I would need to extend my reservation and have her come an extra day, and she said it would be absolutely no problem. I can’t tell you how much that flexibility meant to me, knowing that if need be, I wouldn’t need to book with another stranger for a day or have my kitty get to know somebody else again. She spent every day checking for all the things I asked her to, playing with my kitty, giving him treats, and most of all giving him love, enrichment, and human interaction. I can’t recommend her enough. From one neurotic and overly-attached (but is there really such a thing?) cat mom to another, if you’re reading this, this is exactly who you want - you will not regret booking with Elizabeth one bit. It’s not easy being away from your pets but she will erase all anxiety and you’ll feel so much better knowing that your kitty is in the best care possible in the meantime. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future, and I know my kitty already can’t wait to see her again (I think he is seriously in love)!😻"

"Erika was an outstanding overnight cat sitter for my senior kitty. So far she has completed three separate bookings for my cat: 3 nights, 2 nights, and 15 nights. Erika was unphased by the requirements of my senior kitty: twice daily pills, twice daily ear drops/ointment, and daily ear cleaning. She reported several times through the day on exactly what time these things were done, and how they went. Additionally, my cat is prone to going on hunger strikes when I leave; Erika promptly communicated how much the kitty ate and how long it took for her to eat (or not) her food so we could make decisions together about whether/when to stimulate her appetite. For one more challenge, my cat was having some litter box issues; thanks to Erika’s diligent reports, we tested a different litter and box placement and found a combination that got kitty back on track. Erika sent great photos and updates. She was a perfect house guest as well— my place looks as good or better than when I left, even after a couple weeks. I’ve already rebooked Erika for my next trip. And my cat will be thrilled— it’s clear she got a little attached and enjoyed “helping” with her knitting."

From the very beginning, she was attentive, reliable, and incredibly responsive. She kept us updated with multiple photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our cats were in her care. One of our cats requires insulin injections twice a day, and she handled this responsibility flawlessly. "We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Vivian took exceptional care of our three cats, each with very different personalities, for eight days while we were away. From the very beginning, she was attentive, reliable, and incredibly responsive. She kept us updated with multiple photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our cats were in her care. One of our cats requires insulin injections twice a day, and she handled this responsibility flawlessly. She made sure he stayed on schedule with every dose, carefully monitored him afterward, and always kept us informed about how he was doing. Knowing he was receiving such attentive care made all the difference. She also took the time to truly get to know each cat, respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. She patiently earned their trust, gave them space when they needed it, and spent quality time playing with them, giving treats, and following their feeding schedule. It was clear that Vivian genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. We returned home to three happy, healthy, and well-cared-for cats. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter, and we would absolutely book with her again!"

"As I began writing thi , I said aloud to my husband, “Ok, so, five stars…” and he said, “No. FIVE HUNDRED stars.” Kyle just inspires that kind of devotion. Usually, when we return from a week or more away, our cat is semi-feral and incandescent with rage at us, taking hours or even a day or more to get comfortable with us again.
