I've been a cat-person for as long as I can remember: I was very close to my childhood cat, and I recently looked through some old family photos and saw that basically 90% of my clothes have had cats on them! I love to contact with and spend time with all personalities of cat, and pride myself on my patient nature in the effort to earn their trust... Hello! I'm Katie, a mom to three cats (all girls, two 8-year-old Siamese mix littermates and one 6-year-old rescue tabby) and lover of all animals and small beings in general.
I've been a cat-person for as long as I can remember: I was very close to my childhood cat, and I recently looked through some old family photos and saw that basically 90% of my clothes have had cats on them! I love to contact with and spend time with all personalities of cat, and pride myself on my patient nature in the effort to earn their trust. I love to play, but also enjoy sitting quietly in the same room until they feel comfortable. As I have many artsy hobbies and work as an illustrator, I thrive on that quiet time and environment!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to meet and interact with so many lovely creatures and figure out what makes them feel comfy and loved. Each cat is so different and will tell you, in their own way, what they need. I love to share my own love with them and feel them open up to me at their own pace. The world really just needs more love and connection, don't you think?
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I have three girls! Edie: 8yo, snowshoe Siamese mix, bossy "eldest child" obsessed with giving everyone baths, crazy for lasers, and very, VERY food-motivated! Midge: 8yo, flame-point Siamese mix (they're littermates!), intensely vocal "middle child" who goes nuts over jewelry and small shiny metal things (the girl loves a push pin...) and loves a warm, squishy lap to sink into. Winnie: 6yo, tabby shorthair, rescued from the engine bay of a semi-truck as a 6wk-old kitten, the definite baby of the family, extremely clingy to me and is anxious around EVERYONE else!
What is your favorite cat toy?
It's gotta be those plastic springs! My girls have always loved them, and it's so funny when they bring them to me holding them in their mouths. They're also not that bad to accidentally step on!

She confidently administers pills, liquid medication, and insulin injections, and remains calm and attentive during neurological episodes. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Columbus cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
