I’ve cat sit in the Columbus area for 5+ years now. From single cat homes to 4+, and I’m comfortable with cats of all personalities
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
One cat named June! She loves to go outside (on a leash), watch the birds from the window, and cuddle! Named June because we share a birthday.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to visit the home ahead of time and make sure I know where everything is/anything particular to their cat! If unable to do so, alternatively I would request a video to ensure I know exactly where food/toys/keys etc are !

Emma is awesome. This was our first time using the app so we weren’t sure what to expect. But everything was seamless, we were able to book on short notice, and Emma took great care of our cats. She sent lots of pictures and videos too!

Emma is an excellent Cat sitter! She truly cares about your cats as if they were her own and will make sure they get the special attention they need. She made sure each of my cats was accounted for and doing well while I was out of the country which gave me such piece of mind. Emma also was sure to follow all the specific instructions provided and asked any questions that came up while we were gone, which made me know she was putting in true effort to ensure our cats were looked after. I will 100% be using Emma again as our cat sitter!

Emma is a great cat sitter! I can tell that she’s a cat lover because she is so caring and thoughtful when she takes care of my cat. She often brings him toys and even little treats to give him while she’s there, which he loves! She is very detail oriented and will make sure to ask questions/clarify his care if ever needed. I would highly recommend her for pet care. Whenever I have to leave my cat I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that he’s in Emma’s care!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Columbus cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
