I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a full-on Crazy Cat Lady™️, but I’m pretty darn close. 🤣Wherever I am, if I see a cat then that’s all I really care about in that moment. Sometimes when I go to my friend’s or family’s houses, the first people I go to greet are the cats!
All kidding aside, I have always, and will always love cats. I grew up with cats my whole life (we even had 7 in our house at one point!) and have continued to have cats well into adulthood. Every cat I’ve ever had in my life, either my own or of my friends/family, has left a special paw print on my heart. There has never been a cat I’ve met that I didn’t love... Hi there! I’m April!

My partner and I just recently adopted a new kitty into our home, so we have 3 beautiful boys. Ziggy Starfluff is our ultimate princess, Mr. Business is our goofy sweetheart, and Rocky Road is our precious little baby.
Since I’ve had cats as a part of my life and my family’s life for so long, I’ve done quite a bit of cat sitting for them as well! There’s been a wide variety of cat personalities and unique needs every cat has had that I’ve been happy to accommodate. From medication administration to wrangling multiple cats to make sure they all get a chance to eat their dinner, I feel pretty well prepared for other cat sitting adventures.
No matter what, your cats will always be treated with love, respect, patience, kindness, and warmth. I look toward to getting to know many more wonderful and fabulous cats in my future (including yours!)

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Getting to meet new cats of course!! I love seeing the variety of personalities and types/colors/breeds of cats that I do when cat sitting. It’s always fun and interesting to see who they are and what they look like! Not matter what, I’m ready to love them just as they are!!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do!! I actually just adopted a new kitty and now I have 3 wonderful boys! Ziggy Starfluff (12), Mr. Business (9), and our latest addition, Rocky Road (1.5)! All three are incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
First and foremost, just getting to know who they are a bit first. Making sure that they feel comfortable with me and can ask any questions they need. I also will make sure to ask lots of questions myself to know how to meet their needs best! I’m always happy to provide an open line of communication and send pictures and videos anytime!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
