I've been a vet assistant with cats being my favorite patients and also took care of my own diabetic cat for over 7 years after his diagnosis having to administer meds daily. Cats are misunderstood often and deserve someone who understands them and can soothe them from afar if needed, because they are shy and maybe a bit unsure while their people are not home. I promise to show your kitty all the love and care as if they are my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been fostering cats for a local rescue the past few years, I also fostered feral kittens and socialized them to become adoptable for 8 years, and I just recently have been cat sitting for a local family when they travel.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 rescue kitties that both came from hoarding situations. Felix is my orange tabby and Basil is a DSH striped tabby. They are both 3 years old.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I am very detail oriented when it comes to the care of others pets. I make sure to keep all doors secure and make sure not to open any rooms that were not already available to the kitties in the home. I check through the house every visit for anything that maybe damaged, broken, or opened by kitties that should not be.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Laser lights are my favorite cat toy! This is great especially for the shy kitties or for the ones that are a little nervous. I like using the laser light to take their minds off of my presence or them missing their momma!

I went out of town last minute and Bridget was easy to work with in arranging a time to feed my cat. Since I’m new to town, it was a relief to have a local who happened to even be familiar with my apartment complex. She responded quickly and sent pictures so that I could see he was doing well. I will definitely hire her again in the future.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
