What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Iāve been pet sitting for several years and have cared for cats through house sitting, drop-in visits, and helping friends, family, and clients with their pets. Iāve cared for everything from playful, social cats to shy kitties who would rather observe me from across the room for the first few visits. Every cat is different, and I love taking the time to learn their personality, routine, and what helps them feel comfortable while their family is away.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Honestly, I love how unique cats are. Some immediately demand attention, some want to play, and some act like youāre an inconvenience for existing in their house. Earning a catās trust is one of my favorite things. Thereās something special about seeing a shy cat slowly warm up to you and start feeling safe in your presence.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! Iām a proud cat mom myself. I currently have four cats: Gizmo, Hugo, Pinch, and Juni, as well as three of Juniās adorable kittens. Living with multiple cats has taught me so much about feline personalities and behavior. Every one of my cats is completely different, and I love getting to know what makes each of them feel happy, comfortable, and secure. From playful kittens with endless energy to cats who prefer a quiet nap in the sunshine, Iāve learned how important it is to respect each catās individual needs and routine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
