I pride myself on providing exceptional pet care and ensuring both you and your pet feel at ease while you are away. I have experience working with pets of all ages and personalities. I've surprised many of my clients with my ability to bond with shy or grumpy ... I've been working as a professional pet sitter for over eight years and I have two years experience volunteering with local animal shelters. I'm also certified in pet first aid with The Red Cross.
I pride myself on providing exceptional pet care and ensuring both you and your pet feel at ease while you are away. I have experience working with pets of all ages and personalities. I've surprised many of my clients with my ability to bond with shy or grumpy pets.
I'm available for pet check-ins 7 days a week from 7am - 11am for all areas of Salem, evening drop-ins available for West Salem residents. I keep my calendar updated with dates I am unavailable. I am available on most holidays.
Your cats' safety is my first priority. Please let me know if they like to try and escape or any other behavior I should keep an eye on.

Kelly was wonderful with our shy cat. Our cat can be really picky with humans she likes but she seemed to warm up to Kelly right away. She was comfortable giving our cat her meds and sent daily updates with pictures. It was such a relief to have someone we could trust cat sitting when we were away. Would definitely book again!

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Salem cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

We had always had friends available to watch our kitties so we were very hesitant to use Meowtel, but Kelly was amazing from our first interaction via messages. She was very understanding and answered all of our questions and was even willing to meet ahead of time which we appreciated so much! We felt very comfortable as she took detailed notes and our kitties came up to her. She took amazing care of our 3 cats while we were away for a few days. Highly recommend Kelly! This is the first time we've ever left our kitty for 5 days and had a good experience. In the past, she has had potty accidents whenever we have left her.
