How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Ensuring the safety and security of your cat and home during my visits is my top priority. Before leaving each appointment, I double-check that all doors and windows are securely locked to provide peace of mind, especially in case of deliveries while I'm there. I’m happy to bring any packages inside after the delivery person has left to keep everything safe. To protect your privacy, I take care not to share details about my location or your address with anyone. When capturing photos of your beloved cat, I make sure they do not reveal any personal information about your home. Your cat's well-being and your privacy are always at the forefront of my care approach.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have a special place in my heart for timid and anxious cats. There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching them gradually warm up to you—it’s incredibly rewarding! For instance, I once spent hours lying on the floor with my arm extended, patiently offering chin scratches to a nervous cat who would only accept affection on her terms. If I moved too quickly, she’d scamper away. But after a week of gentle persistence, she finally felt comfortable enough to seek me out for cuddles. This cat, an albino rescue from a difficult background, now greets me with a friendly “hello” every time we meet. I believe that understanding and patience are key; it may take time for a cat to trust you, and that’s perfectly okay. My approach combines soft persistence and lots of love, ensuring your feline friend feels safe and cherished during our time together.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
