I have experience with special needs, elder cats with a lot of clean up needed, messy cats, chaotic cats, and grumpy cats. I can administer medication, follow very specific details and listen to the parents concerns.

I document happily my visits as an honor to meet these kitties in the first place and will ultimately do what you need to help you feel comfortable during my visits.

I'm always willing to go above and beyond for cats, even if it's the neighborhood cat at my window wanting a treat, he'll get it! Please consider me to care for your children!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have babysat over 30 cats in the last 20 years. I've not had a cat react badly to-date but am always prepared to give the individualized cat the needed time, space and respect it deserves in our interactions together.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I am a cautious person by nature; being in someone else's house is very intimate. I absolutely care how pet parents feel about their space and ensure their house is protected properly by following their protocols, requests and safety. Cats are their children and I take that very seriously as I would expect the same if roles reversed. I will keep your children safe, loved and well while under my care.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I spend a lot of time respecting boundaries. I sit, even for 30 minutes if I have to in order to allow your cat to feel safe. I do not push myself on cats, I allow them the time they need and the safety they need to establish trust. I speak from experience with a very antisocial cat who took much patience and care but was well worth every effort to just be around him. Every cat needs to feel safe.

My first time using this app after so many others were 🐕 centered, could not have gone better. Delilah 🐈 and I were absolutely blessed to get Lily for two visits, which were filled with communication, pictures and fun! Lily came by the night before my mini vaca, to meet my DD and it was clear Lily was professional, an expert with cats, and awesome Delilah overall! My entire vacation was better knowing Delilah was happy and safe and couldn't be in better hands! thanks to Lily and Meowtel!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
