I joke I was my mother’s first born human as strays and rescue cats preceded me as siblings. I’ve never not known a life without feline friendship so, as an adult, it was an easy transition to adopt a bonded sister kitty pair and love them for over 12 years, equaling well over 30 years of total experience... I joke I was my mother’s first born human as strays and rescue cats preceded me as siblings. I’ve never not known a life without feline friendship so, as an adult, it was an easy transition to adopt a bonded sister kitty pair and love them for over 12 years, equaling well over 30 years of total experience.

I also have often been the go-to, trustworthy contact for colleagues and friends with cats, dogs and babies, and I consider myself honored to be chosen for the responsibility!

My “girls” crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022 and 2024 and, while I’m not ready to rescue or adopt at this time, I am ready and have been loving caring for furbabies once again. It fills a huge void in my heart and makes me so happy to be of service to you and your family.

I am most accustomed to overnight stays; however, I am available for early morning and post-work drop ins. I also am in the process of saving to purchase my first home ever and I couldn’t think of a better way to earn extra income.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

You know your cat(s) best, so trust your intuition. Choose someone that is responsible, attentive and communicates clearly and effectively. Sitters are not a one size fits all, so do make sure you hire through this site, as all sitters are background checked and hired in confidence.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am usually available during the holidays. My first holiday sit was way back in 2011 and it is when I met my girls whom I would end up adopting and loving for many, many years.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I have always loved a laser pointer. It is a wonderful stimulation tool that allows cats to expend a lot of energy. I prefer toys that work on the cats’ instincts and provide them with restful sleep as a result of the playtime.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let timid and anxious cats make the rules. My job is not to force interaction but simply let them come to me if and when they are ready. I also remain calm and quiet to assure them that I am a safe and secure individual that is there to feed, nurture and care for them.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
