I know that ... Hi! I'm a dedicated cat sitter who believes every kitty deserves to feel safe, understood, and adored while their humans are away. I recently relocated to the area for work after graduation, and I'm excited to get to meet the feline community here. I have one cat of my own, Lily, and I've grown up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I used to pet sit in college as well, so I am familiar with the process.
I know that no two cats are the same, and I'm committed to caring for each one in a way that suits their unique personality and needs. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I'll meet them where they're comfortable.
I'm also happy to meet in advance of appointments to discuss care details and give your cat a chance to get familiar with me while their parent is around. My goal is
to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your kitty!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I grew up with pets, primarily cats, and pet sat for friends and family for the past 3 1/2 years.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to meet new cats and discover their different personalities. I always get nervous when I'm away from my kitty, so it makes me happy to know I can provide some relief for someone else in that position.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one kitty, Lily, she is a 6-year-old tabby. I got her a few months before Covid, so she is very accustomed to lots of attention!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Charleston cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
